American Girl Personalized Nightgown

This American Girl size Nightgown can be personalized with your doll's own name

My handmade American Girl nightgown is made from soft and cuddly flannel and can be personalized with your doll's very own name. The doll modeling this outfit is Nikki but she is the closest I have to Lanie (the name on the nightgown) right now, at least for curly hair. Nikki likes this light blue gown because it goes with her blue eyes so well. She heard that Becky, who is modeling my print flannel nightgown for American Girl dolls, is going to Nellie's house and have a DVD party. Nikki thinks I need to make her a nightgown now with her own name on it since she's modeling one that was being sold. Maybe someday, Nikki!

You can choose light blue, white, pink or red (for Christmas!) when you order. Just use the pull down menu below. I have decided that a solid color will allow the embroidery to show the best.

Please allow up to 4 weeks for this item since it is handmade and I have to get to my friend's house to have it embroidered. I never know how many orders I will have at any given time so it's best to tell you it will take longer then let you be pleasantly surprised when it shows up at your doorstep a little sooner!

This American Girl personalized nightgown has long gathered sleeves with elastic at the wrists. There is lace trim at the yoke and hem edge. The nightgown closes in back with Velcro.

When you order this nightgown for your American Girl doll, you will see space below for you to type in the doll's name. Please be sure the spelling is correct for JLY dolls or dolls that you have renamed because when I have my friend do the machine embroidery of the name, I will be giving her the spelling that is provided. Since I collect these dolls, I know how the already-named ones' names are spelled so if I do spot a spelling error in, for example, Felicity or Kailey, I will go ahead and correct it.

Here is a close-up of what your doll's name will look like. Remember, this is only a sample of a gown that I already have made for someone. It doesn't mean this gown is only for that specific doll named on it.

As always, my doll Nikki and her slippers are not included. However, you can check a box below to add the slippers for only $5. It's nice to be able to take care of your gift giving needs all in one convenient place, here at Kitt's! And it's even all on the same page, no annoying hunting around for the separate slippers.

Here is what the fuzzy white slippers look like. I hope to be able to get some pastel colors of slippers from another supplier but until that happens, I have these white ones that actually go onto your doll's foot and stay on:

Please allow at least 3-4 weeks from the time you order till delivery is made. I have to take the nightgown yoke to my friend's to have it embroidered and it's always questionable as to how many orders she or I will have ahead of you. Normally it won't take that long but I like to avoid any and all disappointments. This is also my policy at my sister site Barbee & Friends as it is increasingly more difficult to keep a lot of stock on hand. Doll clothes are such a popular gift item, especially handmade doll clothes, so please order well in advance of your needed-by date.
