This handmade Valentine skirt set for your
American Girl or other 18 inch doll is very trendy since it has a ruffle and red sparkly tulle peeking out from under the skirt. I am a Liberty Jane partner so that's the pattern I used for this skirt, which has an elastic waist.
The long sleeve shirt is made from dark pink cotton knit. It picks up on the darker pink hearts in the kitty print and features a more relaxed fit through the body. The shirt closes down the back with flexible Velcro for ease of dressing your doll. I used a Lee and Pearl pattern for this top. It has a more relaxed fit to it. (This would be the perfect top pattern for Logan or your other American Boy dolls).

You also get these adorable light pink boots which pick up on the light pink hearts in the skirt. The boots zip down the back but you can loosen the laces to make it easier to get them on your doll. I was very pleased with the fit of these stylish looking boots. They have a fake cork sole and a thin silver chain and pearl strand trim. The boots were purchased from one of my quality suppliers.
I like to use authentic American Girl dolls like Julie for my models to be sure that my handmade American Girl clothes will fit any 18 inch dolls.
