Handmade American Girl and Bitty Clothes by Kitt's Kloset Doll Clothes

American Girl and Bitty Baby or Bitty Twin clothes are handmade by me and my mom

Handmade doll clothes for your American Girl doll or Bitty Baby/Twin doll are something you can be sure will last a long time and hopefully become some of your little girls' favorite American Girl size clothes. At craft shows I always get asked and yes, these clothes do fit the 18 inch doll "cousins" as I like to call them that live at toy stores or your favorite discount store.

A good way to keep in touch is through my Kitt's Kloset Facebook page. There you will see the latest items I'm working on or if you're local, what craft show I'll be doing next. If you need to email me, the email address is at the foot of each page. Just omit the words at and com.

I have been sewing American Girl doll clothes since 2006 but my mom has been sewing them quite a bit longer. I also am featuring a few doll clothes made by two friends. I current sew for the 14.5" little sister dolls to the American Girl, called Wellie Wishers. Those doll clothes can be viewed on the Kitt's Kloset Facebook page since I have been selling them at craft shows recently.

My friend Holly from New York makes the beautiful American Girl historical outfits and a couple of other regular outfits as well. My friend Kathy from Iowa has made the modern and old-fashioned American Girl undergarments I have listed here. I have more of her outfits to list as well. Check out the About page to learn more about these two talents.

If you have visited Kitt's before and have it bookmarked, I hope you will enjoy the new look of the site and the fact that it's mobile friendly. I have tried to consolidate links for a less cluttered look so all you need to do to shop is click one of the main links across the top for either American Girl clothes or Bitty Baby/Twin clothes. That will take you to category pages which list the products.

I hope the new look will tempt you into treating someone to some handmade clothes for your 18 inch doll today!

NOTE: While I use American Girl dolls for all my models, I am not affiliated with their company. I simply love their beautiful dolls and collect them myself. Basically it's an excuse to showcase my own collection here along with doll clothes I happen to sell.

I had the pleasure of being featured in Karen, Mom of Three's blog (June 2014) where she features various handmade artisans. This article told about my website and also my Etsy shop.
